The first half of 2026 has been marked by new challenges for companies in areas as diverse as absenteeism management, artificial intelligence, pay transparency, and sustainable mobility. We have compiled the posts published so far this year, reviewing some of the issues that have dominated the legal and labor debate in recent months.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Labor relations continue to evolve in step with social, technological, and regulatory changes. During these first seven months of the year, on the Labor & Employment Blog, we have analyzed key issues for the daily management of companies, such as the use of medical examinations to combat absenteeism, the possibility of implementing alcohol and drug control policies in the workplace, job adaptations for permanent disability, the limits of exercising union credit, the impact of artificial intelligence in the workplace from different perspectives, pay equity, and measures to address adverse weather events.<\/p>\n

We have also discussed regulatory and doctrinal changes in areas such as sustainable mobility, international mobility, defining the limits of labor inspections, and flexible retirement.<\/p>\n
